Lothian Work Support Services (Vocational Rehabilitation)
Incorporating 3 services
1. Working Health services (WHS) – Occupational Health Services for small businesses
Self employed – can be absent or in work and struggling
Small businesses <250 employees
Employees struggling at work or absent (for any period of time)
Provide case management, OT, PT, mental health support, welfare and rights signposting
Average 3/12 intervention time, able to re refer back in to service as required
Refer via SCI Gateway (AAH-Rehab-Vocational Rehabilitation) or self refer 0131 537 9579
2. Macmillan Work Service
Anyone with cancer or affected by cancer (e.g. carer) who has a workplace issue
Can be absent or in work and struggling
Provide case management, OT, PT, mental health support, welfare and rights signposting
No timescale on intervention and able to re refer back into service as required
Refer via SCI Gateway (AAH-Rehab-Vocational Rehabilitation) or self refer 0131 537 9579
4. Case Management Service
Patients who do not fit into any of the above criteria
Provide basic case management advice and signposting
Refer via SCI Gateway (AAH-Rehab-Vocational Rehabilitation) or self refer 0131 537 9579
