​Most people with BPPV will recover within a few weeks of onset of symptoms. Brandt-Daroff exercises may help – please see Brandt-Daroff Exercises.pdf for patient leaflet.
However, there is evidence that just keeping mobile and active also helps, particularly when this involves changes in body and head position. Those who avoid activity and adopt a very static head position to minimise symptoms tend not to recover as quickly.
