Who not to refer/red flag presentations:	Patients who need – Domiciliary assessments, Full neurological assessments, Full MSK assessments Patients who require 4 wheel walker / delta frames should be referred to: Domiciliary Physio/Physio at Home Team for assessment in the environment this will be used in. Patients who are at high risk of falls should be referred to the local Falls Team or Domiciliary Physiotherapy team for Home assessment.

What not to refer-other:	Patients who are unable to attend for an Outpatient appointment ( ie housebound) Patients who require their home environment or outdoor mobility to be assessed Patients who require wheelchair assessments Neurological conditions e.g. MS, PD, CVA – Refer to neuro services (Outpatient neuro at AAH for Edinburgh Patients ) Children under 16

Who to refer:

Patients who require a walking aid assessment to aid their mobility due to a MSK complaint. They must be able to attend a clinic for an Outpatient appointment.
