Performance & Impact

RefHelp’s aim is to remain a trusted source of information and valued by all our users. Currently, we are directing our efforts towards generating meaningful impact data that can inform service improvements and provide evidence of impact.

 1. Surveys: Recently, two RefHelp impact surveys were conducted in primary and secondary care respectively. To know more see the results below:

 2. Feedback Form: We have an online feedback form embedded on the website for users to report a problem or provide feedback at any point of time.

 3. Deep Dives: A Referral advisor closely works with a specialty to analyse referrals, develop the referral guidelines and review existing pathways to bring about suggested process changes to further improve patient pathways and referrals. To date, deep dives have been done in three specialties namely Dermatology, ENT, and Urology. 

 4. Google Analytics: RefHelp currently has over 500,000 users and over 2 million page views. We monitor traffic on the website using Google Analytics and the performance is reviewed on a monthly basis. See RefHelp Google Analytics Report – November 2024

5. RefTalks : The webinar series was launched in September 2021 and every year an annual review and impact evaluation is carried out to further improve future webinar.

  • RefTalks 2021-22 : on completing a year after 7 webinars attended by 399 attendees and 1435 online viewers, a survey was conducted to evaluate the impact of the talks on practice. See the Impact of RefTalks -Attendee Survey Report
  • RefTalks 2022-23 : The last year we had 8 webinars attended by 419 attendees and 1041 online viewers for the webinar recordings. See the RefTalks Annual Review 2022-23 Infographic for more details.
  • RefTalks Poster 2024 : The RefHelp team presented a poster under the ‘Value & Sustainability’ category at the NHS Scotland Event 2024 held at the SEC, Glasgow on the 10th of June 2024. You can view the poster here: RefTalks – Knowledge worth sharing
