Low Visual Aid Clinic
This clinic is one of the specialised clinics at the PAEP.
It is run by an optometrist and an ophthalmologist. Here patients with visual loss are assessed for magnifiers and registration. We provide information on the benefits of registration and if eligible we complete the necessary documents.
We also assess for and provide magnifiers to patients in whom it will benefit.
This clinic can be referred to via SCI gateway. Please see how to refer (Link) for further details on how to refer to a specialist clinic.
