The current NHS Lothian waiting times are available via the link below. This will be updated on a monthly basis.
Patients will continue to be prioritised based on the clinical information provided in the referral. When a patient is added to a waiting list, they are sent a letter to confirm this. This letter also provides patients with the contact details for the appointments office. If a patient is removed from the waiting list, they will be sent a letter confirming this. As a patient’s condition can change over time, the patients that have been waiting the longest will also be sent a waiting list review letter asking them to confirm that they still need to be sent an appointment.
