Who to refer:
Refer as Urgent Suspicious of Cancer:
Following treatment for a Urinary Tract Infection:
- Visible haematuria persists despite treatment
- or recurs after treatment
Patients ≥45 with no symptoms of UTI.
Refer Urgently:
Patients <45y with no symptoms of UTI
Who not to refer:
Those with a UTI in whom symptoms settle with treatment and do not recur.
