Information
Commonly affects 3rd, 4th, 5th toes and often runs in families;
- Overriding toes
- Underriding toes
- Webbed toes (surgery not advised)
- Curly toes
As a general rule if flexible and correctable -reassure.
Reassure and advise well fitted footwear.
When to refer on:
– If calluses/redness/pain or fixed contractures consider Paediatric Orthopaedic referral or Podiatry referral for toe spacers
