Services
General Gynaecology Services
There are Gynaecology services at the RIE and SJH and a medical and adolescent Gynaecology service at Chalmers. Anyone with suspected cancer should be referred to the RIE or SJH.
The menopause service is based at Chalmers.
eAdvice
Where referral is not indicated, clinically, eAdvice is available via SCI Gateway at Royal Infirmary at Little France, Gynaecology, Advice Only.
Colposcopy Services
Available at RIE, St John’s and Chalmers and can be accessed via SCI Gateway.
At Chalmers, if a smear results indicates a colposcopy is required, then Chalmers will arrange that, so the GP does not need to arrange an appointment
