cCBT for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) – for people with depression or anxiety

This cCBT programme is designed for Individuals with mild to moderate symptoms of depression and anxiety who specifically have OCD symptoms too.

The OCD programme is designed to relieve the symptoms of OCD by:

  • Focusing on developing more flexible ways of thinking
  • Increasing awareness and understanding of emotions
  • Increasing awareness and understanding of obsessions and compulsions and their role in maintaining anxiety
  • Using the exposure response prevention technique to learn to cope with anxiety provoking situations without engaging in compulsions.

The programme modules are:

  • Getting started
  • Understanding feelings
  • Compulsions and OCD
  • Spotting thoughts
  • Challenging thoughts
  • Bringing it all together
  • Managing worry

Each of these areas is explored in terms of topics, goals and activities.
