Red flags – No Trauma
History
- Unwell – recent weight loss
- Past medical history of malignancy
- Unusual deformity, swelling
- Non mechanical pain
- Unremitting night pain
- Atypical mass bigger than 5cm
Secondary care referral
- Refer for X-Ray immediately.
- Depending on X-Ray, urgent referral to Orthopaedics – Sarcoma – RefHelp (nhslothian.scot)
