There is a genital skins clinic at Chalmers Sexual Health Centre, and both men and women can be referred.
Alternatively, women can be referred to the Gynaecology service for vulval disorders at RIE or St John’s.
HOWEVER, IF GENITAL MALIGNANCY IS SUSPECTED, PLEASE DO NOT REFER TO CHALMERS, WHICH MANAGES BENIGN CONDITIONS. PLEASE REFER TO GYNAECOLOGY SERVICES (WOMEN) AND UROLOGY (MEN).
Skin care, including approach to washing, is important for genital skin health and a crucial step in managing many symptoms. Please see patient information leaflets in the Resources and Link tab below.
Who not to refer:
Those with suspected malignancy – please refer to gynaecology (women) or urology (men).
