This is an MRC-funded project in collaboration with Amy Irvine and P.I Dr. Andrew Free at the University of Edinburgh. Coordinated at NHS Lothian by Dr Olga Moncayo, this project is investigating the role of the intestinal microbiota in resistance to and recurrence of Clostridium difficile-associated dysbiosis, a major form of hospital-acquired infection.
