Research Interests:
Macrophage antibacterial responses against gram-positive bacteria (staphylococci, enterococci, streptococci).
Host-directed anti-infectives for bacterial infections.
Impact of ageing and multimorbidity on host defence.
Patient stratification in S. aureus bacteraemia (SNAPstrat sub-study).
