Two of our CIRG members talk about Covid-19 vaccine allergy clinics on the MIC: More Infection Chat Podcast

Dr Rebecca Sutherland and Dr Karla Berry were guests on the British Infection Association’s podcast, MIC: More Infection Chat, to discuss their paper ‘COVID-19 vaccination in patients at higher risk of anaphylaxis: A safe and pragmatic approach’.

On the podcast, they discussed the COVID-19 Vaccine Allergy Clinic they set up in Western General Hospital. They talk about what led them to setting up this clinic, how the clinic operated and the importance of this clinic during the pandemic. The discussion also explored the key findings and the lasting impact of their work on supporting safe environments for vaccine delivery .
