Some FEIs also provide&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.nhslothian.scot\/refhelp\/guidelines\/studentcounsellingservices\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/apps.nhslothian.scot\/refhelp\/guidelines\/studentcounsellingservices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">student counselling services<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those with more severe mental health problems can be referred through the usual channels to generic adult mental health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please see the Primary Care Management page for specific advice about students with ADHD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs\" data-active-tab=\"0\"><ul class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__nav-links\"><\/ul>\n<div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__nav-link\"><span class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__title-wrapper\"><a href=\"#\"><span class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__title\">Referral Guidelines<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__tab-content-wrapper\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__tab-content\">\n<p>Edinburgh FEI students with mild to moderate affective disorder, exam stress or insomnia may be referred to student mental health services at&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ithriveedinburgh.org.uk\/self-help\/self-help-guides-resources\/students-mental-health\/\" target=\"_blank\">iThrive Student Mental Health<\/a>. The website also gives factsheets, tips, and information useful for all students.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__nav-link\"><span class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__title-wrapper\"><a href=\"#\"><span class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__title\">Primary Care Management<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__tab-content-wrapper\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__tab-content\">\n<p>Please note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students with ADHD will have been advised to bring proof of their medication and treatment, previously prescribed by another health care provider.
