this includes (but is not limited to) breast cancer, estrogen-responsive gynae cancers, venous thromboembolism, cardiovascular disease, severe endometriosis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individuals using HRT who have bleeding problems, side effects, or refractory symptoms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individuals with premature ovarian insufficiency (&lt;40yrs) \u2013 spontaneous or iatrogenic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adults with Turner syndrome<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who not to refer:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Manage in Primary Care:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Individuals with uncomplicated medical history who request HRT \u2013 see&nbsp;the Lothian Joint Formulary&nbsp;&nbsp;for HRT choices, and our FAQs for further guidance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individuals with new onset unscheduled bleeding in the first 3-6 months of use of HRT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Refer elsewhere:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Individuals with premature ovarian insufficiency who wish to explore fertility options (please refer to Reproductive Endocrinology at Edinburgh Fertility Centre)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individuals with post-menopausal bleeding should not be referred to Chalmers\u00a0 &#8211;
