You may also send your yellow battery book to the address on the back of your battery book.&nbsp;For&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing:0px\"><strong>replacement hearing aid batteries<\/strong>, please see&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"\/files\/sites\/2\/New-Hearing-Aid-Batteries-and-Repairs-Sept-2020.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Hearing Aid Batteries and Repairs Sept 2020.pdf<\/a><span>&nbsp;\u2013 this can be texted, or the leaflet posted, to patients.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs\" data-active-tab=\"0\"><ul class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__nav-links\"><\/ul>\n<div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__nav-link\"><span class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__title-wrapper\"><a href=\"#\"><span class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__title\">Referral Guidelines<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__tab-content-wrapper\"><div class=\"wp-block-getwid-tabs__tab-content\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who to refer:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If someone has hearing loss and may require a hearing aid, please refer through the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.nhslothian.scot\/refhelp\/guidelines\/audiology\/hearinglossaudiology\/\">hearing loss<\/a> pathway for initial assessment: this applies to adults who have left school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hearing aids are available free of charge through the NHS. After a hearing test, audiologists will recommend the best type of hearing aid suitable for the hearing loss.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anyone with symptomatic hearing loss who wishes to be considered for a hearing aid.
